Vulture
A vulture is a large bird known for its scavenging habits. These birds primarily feed on the carcasses of dead animals, playing a crucial role in the ecosystem by helping to clean up the environment. Vultures have excellent eyesight, allowing them to spot food from great distances, and they often soar high in the sky to search for carrion.
There are several species of vultures, including the Turkey Vulture and the Griffon Vulture. They are found on every continent except Antarctica. Vultures have unique adaptations, such as a bald head, which helps them stay clean while feeding, and strong digestive systems that can handle harmful bacteria found in decaying flesh.
