Vonones I
Vonones I was a king of the Parthian Empire, ruling from around 8 AD to 12 AD. He was the son of Artabanus II and became the first Parthian king to be raised in the Roman Empire, which influenced his reign. His rule was marked by conflicts with rival factions and challenges to his authority.
During his reign, Vonones I faced opposition from local nobles and was eventually forced to flee to Armenia. His reign ended when he was overthrown by Artabanus III, leading to a brief period of instability in the Parthian Empire.
