Von der Tann class
The Von der Tann class is a series of light cruisers built for the Imperial German Navy during the early 20th century. Named after the German admiral Max von der Tann, these ships were designed for speed and versatility, serving in various roles including reconnaissance and fleet support.
The class consisted of two ships, SMS Von der Tann and SMS Moltke, launched in the early 1900s. They featured advanced armament for their time, including heavy artillery and torpedo tubes, making them effective in naval engagements during World War I.
