Volcán Tacaná
Volcán Tacaná is a stratovolcano located on the border between Mexico and Guatemala. It stands at approximately 4,092 meters (13,425 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest volcanoes in Central America. The volcano is part of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas mountain range and is known for its symmetrical cone shape.
The last significant eruption of Volcán Tacaná occurred in 1950, although it has shown minor activity since then.
