Virgin West Coast
Virgin West Coast was a train operating company in the United Kingdom that provided intercity rail services on the West Coast Main Line. It was established in 1997 and was part of the Virgin Group, founded by Richard Branson. The company connected major cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.
In 2012, Virgin West Coast lost its franchise to FirstGroup, but it continued to operate services under the Virgin Trains brand until 2019. The trains were known for their modern amenities and comfortable travel experience, making them popular among commuters and tourists alike.
