Violante of Bar
Violante of Bar was a noblewoman born around 1365, known for her connections to various European royal families. She was the daughter of Robert of Bar and Marie of France, which linked her to both the French and Burgundian nobility.
In 1385, Violante married John I of Portugal, becoming Queen consort. Her marriage strengthened ties between Portugal and France. Violante's life was marked by her role in the royal court and her influence on political alliances during a time of significant change in Europe. She passed away in 1431.
