Vikram Sarabhai
Vikram Sarabhai was an Indian scientist and visionary known as the father of the Indian space program. He played a crucial role in establishing the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1969, which has since made significant advancements in space technology and satellite communication.
Sarabhai was also instrumental in promoting the use of space technology for development in various sectors, including agriculture and education. His efforts led to the launch of several satellites, such as Aryabhata, India's first satellite, in 1975, paving the way for India's progress in space exploration and research.
