Vietnamese National Front
The Vietnamese National Front was a political organization formed in 1944 to promote Vietnamese independence from French colonial rule. It aimed to unite various nationalist groups and foster cooperation among them to achieve common goals. The Front played a significant role in the struggle for independence, particularly during the First Indochina War.
In 1951, the organization was restructured and became known as the Vietnamese Fatherland Front. This new entity continued to support the government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, led by Ho Chi Minh, and focused on promoting national unity and socialist ideals in the country.
