Victoria line
The Victoria line is a rapid transit line on the London Underground, running from Brixton in the south to Walthamstow Central in the northeast. It is known for its distinctive light blue color on maps and operates entirely underground, covering a distance of about 13 kilometers. The line has 16 stations and is one of the busiest in the network.
Opened in 1968, the Victoria line was the first in the London Underground to use automatic train operation, allowing for shorter intervals between trains. It connects with several other lines, including the Bakerloo line, Piccadilly line, and Central line, facilitating easy transfers for passengers.
