Victim
A "victim" is an individual who suffers harm, injury, or loss due to the actions of another person or an event. This term is often used in legal contexts to describe someone affected by a crime, such as theft or assault. Victims can also be those impacted by accidents, natural disasters, or other unfortunate circumstances.
In psychology, the concept of a victim can extend to emotional or psychological harm, where individuals may feel powerless or oppressed. Support systems, such as counseling and victim advocacy programs, are often available to help victims recover and regain control over their lives.
