Vicente Calderón Stadium was a football stadium located in Madrid, Spain. It served as the home ground for Atlético Madrid, one of the country's top football clubs, from 1966 until 2017. The stadium had a seating capacity of approximately 54,000 spectators and was known for its vibrant atmosphere during matches.
The stadium was named after Vicente Calderón, a former president of Atlético Madrid. It hosted numerous important events, including domestic cup finals and international matches. In 2017, the team moved to the new Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, and the Vicente Calderón was subsequently demolished.
