Viaduc des Arts
The Viaduc des Arts is a former railway viaduct located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France. Built in the 19th century, it spans approximately 4.5 kilometers and has been transformed into a pedestrian walkway. The structure features a series of arches that now house various artisan shops, galleries, and cafes, making it a vibrant cultural space.
This elevated promenade connects the Place de la Bastille to the Place de la Nation, offering visitors scenic views of the surrounding area. The Viaduc des Arts is also part of the larger Coulée Verte René-Dumont, a linear park that promotes green spaces in urban environments.
