Vermont State Legislature
The Vermont State Legislature is the legislative body of the state of Vermont. It consists of two chambers: the Vermont House of Representatives and the Vermont Senate. The legislature meets annually in Montpelier, the state capital, to discuss and pass laws that affect the residents of Vermont.
The Vermont House has 150 members, while the Vermont Senate is made up of 30 senators. Both chambers work together to create and amend state laws, manage the state budget, and address various issues such as education, healthcare, and the environment.
