Vermont House of Representatives
The Vermont House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Vermont General Assembly, which is the state legislature of Vermont. It consists of 150 members who are elected to two-year terms. The House is responsible for proposing and voting on state laws, as well as representing the interests of their constituents.
Members of the House are organized into various committees that focus on specific areas, such as finance, education, and health care. The House works alongside the Vermont Senate, the upper chamber, to create and amend legislation that affects the state and its residents.
