Venus Express
Venus Express was a space mission launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2005 to study the planet Venus. The spacecraft entered orbit around Venus in April 2006 and conducted detailed observations of its atmosphere, surface, and climate for over eight years.
The mission aimed to improve our understanding of Venus's greenhouse effect and its geological history. Venus Express provided valuable data on the planet's clouds, winds, and temperature variations, helping scientists compare Venus with Earth and learn more about planetary evolution. The mission concluded in December 2014 when contact was lost with the spacecraft.
