Venera 10
Venera 10 was a Soviet space probe launched on June 14, 1975, as part of the Venera program to explore Venus. It successfully landed on the planet's surface on October 25, 1975, and transmitted data for about 65 minutes before succumbing to the harsh conditions.
The probe provided valuable information about Venus' atmosphere, surface temperature, and pressure. It also sent back images of the landscape, revealing a rocky terrain covered in volcanic features. Venera 10 contributed significantly to our understanding of Venus and its extreme environment.
