Velorum
Velorum is a constellation located in the southern sky. Its name is derived from the Latin word for "sails," reflecting its representation of the sails of a ship. This constellation is best visible in the evening during the months of March to June.
Within Velorum, there are notable stars, including Gamma Velorum, which is a binary star system. The constellation also contains several deep-sky objects, such as the NGC 3132 planetary nebula. Velorum is relatively faint, making it less well-known compared to other constellations.
