Vedic Aryans
The Vedic Aryans were an ancient group of people who migrated to the Indian subcontinent around 1500 BCE. They are known for composing the Vedas, which are some of the oldest sacred texts in Hinduism. The Vedic Aryans primarily spoke an early form of Sanskrit and practiced a pastoral lifestyle, herding cattle and engaging in agriculture.
Their society was organized into tribes led by chieftains, and they valued rituals and sacrifices to appease their deities. The Vedic period laid the foundation for many aspects of Indian culture, including religion, philosophy, and social structure, influencing the development of later Indian civilization.
