Vascular Tumors
Vascular tumors are abnormal growths that develop from blood vessels. They can occur in various parts of the body and are often classified into benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) types. Common examples include hemangiomas, which are usually harmless and often found in infants, and angiosarcomas, which are rare and aggressive tumors.
These tumors can vary in size and appearance, sometimes causing symptoms like swelling or pain. Diagnosis typically involves imaging techniques such as ultrasound or MRI, and treatment options may include surgery, radiation, or medication, depending on the tumor's type and location.
