The Vanguard Class Submarine is a class of nuclear-powered submarines used by the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom. Designed for strategic deterrence, these submarines carry the Trident II ballistic missile system, which provides the UK with a continuous at-sea nuclear deterrent. Each submarine can carry up to 16 missiles, allowing for a significant strike capability.
Commissioned in the 1990s, the Vanguard Class submarines are 150 meters long and can operate at depths of over 300 meters. They are equipped with advanced sonar and navigation systems, ensuring stealth and effectiveness in various maritime environments.
