Vajrayana Buddhism
Vajrayana Buddhism is a branch of Buddhism that emphasizes the use of rituals, meditation, and esoteric teachings to achieve enlightenment. It is often referred to as the "Diamond Vehicle" and is known for its rich symbolism and practices, including the use of mantras, mudras, and mandalas. This tradition is primarily practiced in regions such as Tibet, Bhutan, and parts of Nepal.
Central to Vajrayana is the concept of the Bodhisattva, a being who seeks enlightenment not just for themselves but for all sentient beings. Practitioners often follow the guidance of a lama, or spiritual teacher, who helps them navigate the complex teachings and practices of this path.
