V. K. Singh
V. K. Singh, full name General Vijay Kumar Singh, is a retired four-star general of the Indian Army. He served as the Chief of Army Staff from 2010 to 2012. Born on May 10, 1950, he has had a distinguished military career, participating in various operations and holding key leadership positions.
After retiring from the army, V. K. Singh entered politics and became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament, representing the Ajmer constituency in Rajasthan. His transition from military to political life has made him a notable figure in contemporary Indian affairs.
