V. K. Singh, full name General Vijay Kumar Singh, is a retired four-star general of the Indian Army. He served as the Chief of Army Staff from 2010 to 2012. Born on May 10, 1950, he has had a distinguished military career, participating in various operations and holding key leadership positions. After retiring from the army, V. K. Singh entered politics and became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament, representing the Ajmer constituency in Rajasthan.
