Uttara Mimamsa
Uttara Mimamsa, also known as Vedanta, is one of the six orthodox schools of Indian philosophy. It primarily focuses on the teachings found in the Upanishads, which are ancient texts that explore the nature of reality, the self, and the ultimate purpose of life. Uttara Mimamsa emphasizes the concept of Brahman, the ultimate reality, and the relationship between the individual soul, or Atman, and this universal essence.
The philosophy of Uttara Mimamsa is often associated with the works of Adi Shankaracharya, who interpreted the Upanishads and established the non-dualistic (Advaita) perspective. This school of thought encourages self-inquiry and meditation as means to realize one's true nature and attain liberation, or Moksha, from the cycle of birth and death.
