Utraquist
Utraquist refers to a member of the Utraquism movement, which emerged in the 15th century in Bohemia. Utraquists believe in receiving both the bread and wine during the Christian sacrament of Communion, a practice that was restricted by the Catholic Church. This belief stems from the idea that all believers should have equal access to the sacrament.
The Utraquist movement was closely associated with the teachings of Jan Hus, a Czech reformer who advocated for religious reforms. Utraquism played a significant role in the Hussite Wars and contributed to the development of Protestantism in Europe.
