Ute people
The Ute people are a Native American tribe primarily located in the western United States, particularly in areas of Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes traditional practices, languages, and social structures. The Ute people historically relied on hunting, gathering, and later, agriculture for their sustenance.
Today, the Ute tribe is composed of several bands, including the Ute Mountain Ute and the Southern Ute. They continue to preserve their cultural identity while also engaging in modern economic activities, such as gaming and tourism, to support their communities and promote their traditions.
