Urodynamics
Urodynamics is a series of tests that assess how well the bladder and urethra are functioning. These tests measure the pressure and flow of urine, helping to diagnose conditions like urinary incontinence, bladder obstruction, or overactive bladder.
During urodynamic testing, a healthcare provider may use specialized equipment to monitor bladder pressure and urine flow while the patient fills and empties their bladder. This information helps doctors understand the underlying issues and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients experiencing urinary problems.
