United States Air National Guard
The United States Air National Guard (ANG) is a reserve component of the United States Air Force. It consists of state-based units that provide support for both federal and state missions. Members of the ANG can be called to active duty during national emergencies or deployed overseas, while also serving their local communities.
The ANG plays a crucial role in various operations, including disaster response, humanitarian aid, and combat missions. Each state has its own Air National Guard units, which allows for a flexible and responsive force that can adapt to different needs and challenges across the country and around the world.
