Unicast Communication
Unicast communication is a method of data transmission where information is sent from one sender to one specific receiver. This type of communication is commonly used in networking, where a single device, such as a computer, sends data directly to another device, like a printer or another computer. It ensures that the message is delivered only to the intended recipient, making it a private form of communication.
In contrast to other methods like broadcast or multicast, which send data to multiple recipients, unicast focuses on one-to-one communication. This can be seen in activities like sending an email or making a phone call, where the information is directed solely to a designated individual or device.
