Uighur Script
The Uighur Script is a writing system used primarily by the Uighur people, an ethnic group in China's Xinjiang region. This script has evolved over time, with its roots in the ancient Old Turkic script. The modern Uighur script is based on the Arabic alphabet and consists of 32 letters, adapted to represent the sounds of the Uighur language.
In addition to the Arabic-based script, the Uighur language has also been written in Latin and Cyrillic scripts at different points in history. The use of these scripts reflects the cultural and political influences on the Uighur people, as well as their efforts to preserve their language and identity.
