USS Wisconsin
The USS Wisconsin (BB-64) is a battleship of the United States Navy, launched on December 7, 1943. It is one of the last battleships built by the U.S. and served during World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War. The ship is 887 feet long and has a displacement of over 58,000 tons, equipped with powerful 16-inch guns and advanced radar systems for its time.
After being decommissioned in 1991, the USS Wisconsin was preserved as a museum ship in Norfolk, Virginia. It is part of the Navy's Historic Ships program, allowing visitors to explore its decks and learn about naval history and the role of battleships in warfare.
