USS Saint Louis (CL-16)
The USS Saint Louis (CL-16) was a light cruiser of the United States Navy, launched on 15 March 1938. It was part of the Brooklyn-class cruisers, designed for speed and agility. The ship played a significant role during World War II, participating in various naval engagements in the Pacific Theater.
Commissioned on 17 June 1941, the USS Saint Louis served in numerous battles, including the Battle of Guadalcanal and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. After the war, the ship was decommissioned in 1949 and later sold for scrap in 1970, marking the end of its service.
