USS S-3
The USS S-3 was a submarine of the S-class built for the United States Navy during the early 20th century. Launched in 1919, it was designed for coastal defense and anti-submarine warfare. The S-3 was equipped with torpedoes and had a displacement of around 1,000 tons when submerged.
Throughout its service, the USS S-3 conducted various training exercises and operations. It was decommissioned in 1931 and later sold for scrap in 1934. The S-class submarines, including the S-3, played a significant role in the development of submarine technology during their time.
