USS Paulding (DD-222)
The USS Paulding (DD-222) was a Clemson-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on 4 April 1919. It was named after Rear Admiral John Paulding, who served in the American Civil War. The ship was commissioned on 24 June 1920 and primarily operated in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans during its service.
Throughout its career, the USS Paulding participated in various naval exercises and training missions. It was decommissioned on 1 June 1945 and later sold for scrap in 1947. The ship played a role in the interwar period and contributed to the U.S. Navy's readiness during World War II.
