USS McInerney (FFG-8) History
The USS McInerney (FFG-8) is a guided missile frigate of the Oliver Hazard Perry class, commissioned in 1979. Named after Rear Admiral L. W. McInerney, the ship served primarily in anti-submarine warfare and conducted various missions, including drug interdiction and humanitarian assistance.
