USS McInerney
The USS McInerney (FFG-8) is a guided missile frigate of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1979. Named after Rear Admiral Daniel McInerney, the ship is part of the Oliver Hazard Perry class, designed for anti-submarine warfare and surface combat. It has a displacement of approximately 4,100 tons and is equipped with various weapons systems, including the Phalanx CIWS and Harpoon missiles.
Throughout its service, the USS McInerney has participated in numerous operations, including drug interdiction and humanitarian missions.
