USS McCulloch (PG-73)
The USS McCulloch (PG-73) was a patrol gunboat of the United States Navy, launched on 15 March 1943. It was designed for coastal patrol and escort duties during World War II. The ship was named after General George McCulloch, a notable figure in the American Civil War.
Commissioned on 1 September 1943, the USS McCulloch served primarily in the Pacific Theater, participating in various operations, including the liberation of the Philippines. The vessel was decommissioned in 1946 and later sold for scrap, marking the end of its service in the U.S. Navy.
