USS McCoy (DD-103)
The USS McCoy (DD-103) was a Clemson-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on 18 December 1918. It was named after Lieutenant William McCoy, a naval officer who served during the Spanish-American War. The ship was commissioned on 24 June 1920 and primarily operated in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
During its service, the USS McCoy participated in various naval exercises and training missions. The destroyer was decommissioned on 1 June 1930 and later sold for scrap in 1931. Its contributions to naval operations during the interwar period were part of the broader efforts of the U.S. Navy to maintain readiness.
