USS Holland (AS-32)
The USS Holland (AS-32) was a submarine tender of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1963. Named after the inventor of the modern submarine, John Philip Holland, the ship was designed to provide support and maintenance for submarines, including repairs, resupply, and crew accommodations.
Throughout its service, the USS Holland operated primarily in the Atlantic Fleet, playing a crucial role in enhancing the operational readiness of submarines. The vessel was decommissioned in 1994, marking the end of its nearly three-decade service to the Navy.
