USS Guam (LPH-9)
The USS Guam (LPH-9) was a helicopter carrier of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1961. Designed to support amphibious operations, it could transport and launch helicopters, as well as support landing forces. The ship was named after the island of Guam, which played a significant role during World War II.
