USS Camden (AOE-2)
The USS Camden (AOE-2) was a fast combat support ship of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1979. Designed to provide logistical support to naval forces, it was capable of delivering fuel, ammunition, and supplies to ships at sea. The ship was named after Camden, New Jersey, and played a vital role in various operations during its service.
Camden was part of the Supply-class of ships, which included several other vessels designed for similar purposes. It was decommissioned in 2005 after more than two decades of service, contributing to the Navy's ability to sustain operations during peacetime and conflict.
