UNAIDS
UNAIDS is a global organization that leads the fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Established in 1996, it works to coordinate efforts among various countries and organizations to prevent the spread of HIV, provide treatment, and support those affected by the virus. Its mission is to end the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.
The organization focuses on promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and ensuring access to healthcare services for all individuals, especially vulnerable populations. UNAIDS collaborates with governments, civil society, and other partners to implement effective strategies and policies that address the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS.
