UAE Government
The UAE Government is a federal system that consists of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Each emirate has its own ruler, but they collectively form the Federal Supreme Council, which is the highest authority in the country. The President and Vice President are elected from among the rulers of the emirates.
The government operates under a constitution established in 1971, promoting a mix of traditional and modern governance. Key institutions include the Council of Ministers, responsible for executive functions, and the Federal National Council, which serves as an advisory body. The UAE is known for its focus on economic development, security, and social stability.
