Typhoon-class
The Typhoon-class is a class of nuclear-powered submarines developed by the former Soviet Union. Designed for strategic deterrence, these submarines are among the largest in the world, capable of carrying up to 20 intercontinental ballistic missiles, specifically the RSM-52.
Each Typhoon-class submarine is equipped with advanced technology for stealth and survivability, allowing them to operate undetected in various ocean environments. They are primarily used by the Russian Navy and play a crucial role in the country's nuclear triad, ensuring a second-strike capability in the event of a nuclear conflict.
