Borei-Class
The Borei-Class is a class of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines used by the Russian Navy. Designed to replace the older Dolphin-Class submarines, the Borei-Class features advanced stealth capabilities and improved missile systems. Each submarine can carry up to 16 Bulava intercontinental ballistic missiles, enhancing Russia's strategic deterrent.
The first Borei-Class submarine, the Yuri Dolgoruky, was commissioned in 2013. These submarines are equipped with modern sonar and navigation systems, allowing for better underwater performance. The Borei-Class represents a significant advancement in submarine technology, ensuring that Russia maintains a strong presence in naval warfare.
