Types of Muscles
There are three main types of muscles in the human body: skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscles. Skeletal muscles are the ones we can control, allowing us to move our arms and legs. They are attached to bones and help with activities like walking, running, and lifting.
Smooth muscles are found in places like the stomach and blood vessels. Unlike skeletal muscles, we cannot control them consciously; they work automatically to help with digestion and blood flow. Cardiac muscle is unique to the heart, enabling it to pump blood throughout the body. Each type of muscle plays a vital role in keeping us healthy and active.
