Types of Groups
Groups can be categorized into two main types: formal and informal. Formal groups are structured and organized, often created by an organization to achieve specific goals. Examples include project teams, committees, and task forces. These groups have defined roles, responsibilities, and procedures.
Informal groups, on the other hand, form naturally among individuals based on personal relationships and shared interests. They are less structured and can include friendship circles, social clubs, or study groups. While they may not have specific objectives, informal groups can provide support, enhance communication, and foster collaboration among members.
