Types of Electric Lighting
Electric lighting comes in several types, each with unique characteristics. The most common types include incandescent bulbs, which produce light by heating a filament, and fluorescent lamps, which use gas and phosphor to create light. LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are energy-efficient and long-lasting, making them increasingly popular for various applications.
Another type is halogen bulbs, a more efficient version of incandescent lighting that provides bright, white light. CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) are also energy-efficient and can replace traditional bulbs. Each type of electric lighting serves different purposes, from home use to commercial and industrial applications.
