Type B Blood
Type B blood is one of the four main blood types in the ABO blood group system, characterized by the presence of the B antigen on the surface of red blood cells. Individuals with this blood type can have either Rh-positive or Rh-negative blood, depending on the presence of the Rh factor.
People with Type B blood can receive blood from donors with Type B or Type O blood, making it important for blood transfusions. This blood type is less common than Type A and Type O, with varying prevalence across different populations and ethnic groups.
