Two-Point Conversion
A two-point conversion is a play in American football that occurs after a team scores a touchdown. Instead of kicking an extra point, the team can attempt to score two additional points by running or passing the ball into the end zone from the two-yard line. This option is often chosen when a team wants to increase its lead or catch up in a close game.
If the team successfully completes the two-point conversion, they are awarded two points. However, if they fail, they receive no additional points. This strategy adds excitement and can significantly impact the game's outcome.
