Tuyuka
Tuyuka is an indigenous language spoken by the Tuyuka people in the Amazon rainforest, primarily in Brazil and Colombia. It belongs to the Tucanoan language family and is known for its complex system of noun classification and verb morphology.
The Tuyuka people traditionally engage in agriculture, hunting, and fishing, relying on the rich biodiversity of their environment. Efforts are being made to preserve the Tuyuka language and culture, as it faces challenges from modernization and the influence of dominant languages like Portuguese and Spanish.
